Malcom Elementary/ Mrs. Jennifer Buttterworth 5th grade 80 students.
Departure 12:00 from Dana Point Harbor.
Weather: Slight South winds and light rain.
At 12:15 we spotted a big pod of Common Dolphins 4.5 miles off Dana Point. There were approximately 500 Dolphin in the pod. They had dozens of calves with their mothers feeding and playing as we watched. No other sightings during the trip and at 1:45 we headed back.
2:00 Arrive back To Dana Point Harbor.
