C3 Mrs. Laurie Weir 1st thru 6th grade 72 students

Departure: 11:50 from Dana Point Harbor

Weather: Calm winds Partly cloudy skies.

Our trip started off with us being notified of 2 Nourth bound gray whales off Dana Point in 23 fathoms. By the time we caught up with them they were 2.3 miles north of Dana Point Harbor.

At 12:25  we left the 2 Gray Whales to head for a pod of common dolphins we saw heading south while we followed the whales. At 1:15 we caught up with the south bound feeding Common Dolphins in 24 fathoms.

At 1:50 arrive back at Dana Point Harbor
