Linda Vista elementary/ Mrs. Amanda Finazzo 4th 5th and 6th grade 124 students.
Departure: 9:55am from Dana Point Harbor.
Weather very calm with clear skies.
At 10:25 we spotted a North bound Gray whale off San Mateo 4.5 miles South of Dana Point. The whale was migrating in 200 feet of water. We watched as the whale surfaced and showed its flukes before diving.
11:45 Arrive back To Dana Point Harbor.
